Another weekend at home means more exploring of San Francisco. This time I decided to use my membership at De Young Museum to check out the Teotihuacan exhibition on the last weekend available. I am making it a habit of waiting to see the exhibits until the last weekend, but at least I made it. Check out the full album

The Teotihuacan exhibition was a combination of monuments and ritual related objects from the

three pyramids located at Teotihuacan. Along with learning about the different purposes of the pyramids the exhibit also included murals, sculptures and other objects that were pulled from apartments when the locals lived. I was very impressed with the condition of the murals and the impressive amount of objects included at De Young. On my trip to Belize in January I got my first glance at the history and architecture of Central America and I cannot wait to explore more of it. Especially with the newly found Maya ruins in Guatemala.

I also ended up making the walk from the De Young Museum back to North Beach on a beautiful Saturday and made a stop at the Painted Ladies, which was long over due. It was a very crowded

and I look forward to making my way back to Alamo park. Once again it shows how much there is to explore in San Francisco. If you have any great ideas please shoot them my way! Happy Exploring.
